Coach
Why I Coach
I coach CrossFit because I truly believe fitness can change people’s lives. There is nothing better than watching someone get stronger, overcome something they once thought they could not do, or gain confidence that carries into life outside the gym. I also love the relationships that come with coaching. Maverick is a strong, supportive community, and being able to encourage people, celebrate their wins, and help them through the harder days is a big part of why I love what I do.
What You Can Expect From Me
You can expect me to bring energy, positivity, and a genuine desire to help you improve.
I want every athlete to feel welcome, supported, and challenged, no matter where they are starting. I will celebrate your wins, help you work through setbacks, and remind you to keep showing up when progress feels slow.
I believe consistency matters more than going all out every day. I will prioritize good movement and safety while helping you train in a way that fits your goals and abilities. I will push you when you need it, but I will also meet you where you are.
Most importantly, I care about the people I coach. Your progress matters to me.
Experience and Credentials
My fitness journey started many years ago when I earned my NETA Personal Trainer Certification. CrossFit has now been part of my life for more than 10 years, and I have been coaching for the past seven.
I currently hold my CrossFit Level 2 credential and have completed the CrossFit Gymnastics Course. I also enjoy competing in local CrossFit competitions because they challenge me, keep training fun, and give me another way to connect with the CrossFit community.
Outside the Gym
Outside of Maverick, you will usually find me training for my next triathlon or marathon, spending time with my husband, two kids, and two dogs, or enjoying a day at the beach.
Fitness is a big part of my life, but so are family, fun, and enjoying the process. I hope I can help others chase their goals, stay active, and find that same balance along the way.
