Coach
Alex is an encouraging and relatable coach who helps athletes build confidence, enjoy the process, and surprise themselves with what they can accomplish.
I coach for a couple of reasons. I love the sport of CrossFit and helping people improve, but the best part is watching someone surprise themselves.
There is nothing better than seeing an athlete accomplish something they never thought they could. Sometimes that means hitting a new skill or PR. Other times, it simply means having the courage to walk into the gym for the first time.
Getting to be even a small part of that journey is one of the most rewarding parts of coaching.
You can expect plenty of encouragement, a few laughs, and a coach who is genuinely in your corner.
Whether it is your first class, you are chasing a new PR, or you just need an hour to decompress, I want to help you move well, work hard, and enjoy the process along the way.
I have been doing CrossFit since 2019 and coaching for about two years. I currently hold my CrossFit Level 2 credential.
Being both an athlete and a coach has given me a real appreciation for how different everyone’s journey can look. My goal is to help you feel more confident every time you walk through the doors and remind you that progress does not have to be perfect. It just takes consistency.
Outside the gym, I am usually spending time with my husband and our three kids, traveling whenever we get the chance, baking sourdough, or hanging out with our dogs.
I am also a Diet Coke snob and love a good espresso martini.
