Class Reservation Policy Effective Immediately 

Starting Tuesday, March 17th and continuing until further notice, we will implement a reservation policy with a limit of 18 athletes in our Perform program and 10 athletes for our Build program.

 

 

We cannot overemphasize that the safety of our members and community has been, and remains our top priority. With circumstances developing as quickly as they have regarding COVID-19 over recent days, it has been necessary to consolidate our communications.

 

While this communication protocol will continue, you should be assured that we are monitoring developments locally (health department recommendations, personnel matters, client situations, etc.) and will issue additional guidance if/as necessary.

 If you have not already been monitoring the COVID-19 we recommend you do so from the Centers for Disease Control, the State Department, and the Florida Department of Public Health

  • Wipe down your equipment

    after every exercise and don’t hesitate to request more cleaner or wipes if you need it.

  • Hand-washing is your best self-defense

    against the spread of germs. As a backup, use the antibacterial hand sanitizer readily available to you. We recommend that members wash their hands on a consistent basis before and after classes.

  • Substitute fist bumps and high fives

    for ‘fist pumps’ and ‘air high fives.’ Please feel comfortable not participating in any bodily contact with other staff or members and be respectful of others’ decision to also refrain from contact.

  • Please stay home if you are not feeling well,

    especially if you have a fever, are coughing or sneezing or are experiencing shortness of breath. In some instances, if directed by local authorities, you may be asked screening questions before coming into the gym, such as:
     

    • Are you feeling any cold symptoms or shortness of breath?

    • Have you been in close proximity to someone who has been positively diagnosed?

  • Help us by being vigilant.

    If you have traveled to any of the countries where there are outbreaks of the virus, please follow guidance on the CDC website.

  • Here are additional things we need to continue doing to keep our sites clean and safe:

    • Please continue wiping down all areas of equipment (including the floor) that you have touched throughout your workout.

    • It is recommended to wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, particularly after going to the bathroom, before eating, and after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing, and before and after class

    • We will continue to increase our stocks of hand sanitizer and disinfectant

MAV Home Workouts

In lieu of participating in onsite classes and to accommodate our members who have decided to remain off-site, starting Monday, March 16th and continuing until further notice, our Move program will also include a HOME VERSION of the workout.

This version of the workout is specifically designed to be performed at home or outside of the gym. The only equipment that athletes will need to perform these workouts will be their body and a backpack. The backpack can be loaded as the athlete sees fit to accomplish the workout. Generally, we recommend light to moderate loading.

The HOME VERSION will appear directly below the in-gym version of your MOVE workout each week. These workouts will be dynamic, fun, and easy to execute. Again, these workouts are not meant to discourage coming to the gym, but rather encourage you to continue to stay invested in their health and fitness if they aren't able to come to the gym.

Frequently asked questions

Will The Gym Remain Open


Yes, as of now the gym will remain open and operate regular hours. We are however monitoring developments of COVID-19 very closely and may be subject to close down the gyms.




Is The Class Schedule The Same?


Yes, The gym is maintaining our regular gym schedule. However, these may be subject to change based on new developments. Please continue to check this page for any updates.




Can I Still Attend Open Gym?


Yes, open gym hours are still in effect. Please Make Sure you are also cleaning your gear off with provided supplies and staying home if not feeling well.




Will You Provide At Home Options?


Yes! Starting Monday, March 16th ALL MOVE Workouts will be accompanied with an "At Home" version. You can access these workouts via Wodify App and E-Mail. The only equipment athletes will need to perform these workouts is their body and a backpack. Athletes may choose to add weight to the backpack as they see fit to accomplish the workout.




Is MAV Limiting Class Size?


Yes, starting Tuesday, March 17th we will be limiting ALL perfrom classes to 18 people and all build classes to 10 people.




Are You Allowing Drop-Ins?


No, at this time we are not allowing any drop-ins or free trials.




Where Can I Reserve My Class


Athletes can reserve a spot for each class from:

  1. Wodify Athlete App for iOS or Android
  2. Wodify Black & White Legacy App for iOS or Android
  3. Wodify Desktop Site
  4. Athletes can also reserve classes directly at Maverick, assuming there is avalibilty.




Reservation Policies


  1. Capacity for all Perfrom classes is currently set to 18 athletes
  2. Capacity for all Build classes is currently set to 10 athletes
  3. Reservations open 72 hours prior to class start time
  4. Reservations remain open until class start time
  5. Once a class reaches the reservation limit of 12, athletes have the option to join the waitlist. Athletes on the waitlist are all emailed in the event space opens, and the first reply will be added to the class roster
  6. Cancellations made within 3 hours of the class start time are marked as "Late Cancellations”
  7. There is not a penalty or fee associated with "Late Cancellations" and “No Shows” at this time (this policy is subject to change)
  8. "Late Cancellations" and “No Shows” count against an Athlete's attendance limits for those on session plans

HOW TO RESERVE WITH WODIFY ATHLETE APP

  1. Login to Wodify Athlete App for ios or Android from a mobile device
  2. Select the Schedule tab in the bottom left corner of the App

  3. Scroll through the list of classes and open-gym times and select the option you want to make a reservation or join the waitlist

  4. Click on the 'Reserve' button for your selected option

  5. To cancel your reservation, click on the highlighted reserved class in purple and then click the 'Cancel Reservation' button

HOW TO RESERVE WITH WODIFY Black Legacy APP

  1. Login to Wodify Black & White Legacy App for iOS or Android

  2. Click the Class Schedule tab

  3. Scroll through the list of classes and find a class to make a reservation

  4. Click on the 'Reserve' button to make a reservation for the class that you would like to attend.

  5. Click the 'Cancel' button if you would like to cancel your reservation

HOW TO RESERVE FROM WODIFY DESKTOP APP

  1. Login to your Wodify Core Athlete account

  2. Click the Calendar tab

  3. View the Calendar

    • The white calendar icon signals a class that is open for registration

    • Classes not open for registration are identified with a gray calendar icon

  4. To make a reservation, click the white calendar icon

  5. Immediately after you click the white calendar icon:

    • The icon changes to a ticket, indicating you have successfully made the reservation

    • A cancel icon appears; click this if you wish to cancel

    • The reservation count and meter increase by 1

  6. You are free to make or cancel reservations to as many classes available at any time
