"My motto was always to keep swinging. Whether I was in a slump or feeling badly or having trouble off the field, the only thing to do was keep swinging."
The story of how I got into physical training is one that I think most clients and CrossFitter’s can certainly relate to. I had always been into sports and staying active when I was younger and all throughout school. But then real life set in and much of my late twenties and early thirties didn’t involve any fitness whatsoever, I had let “life” get in the way. I tried CrossFit in 2008 and instantly loved it! I loved the challenge, how different each workout was, how strong it made me feel, but most of all it was the people who encouraged and cheered me on each day to give everything I had. This is what I want each new athlete who walks through our doors to feel. I want Maverick CrossFit to be not just a gym, but a human improvement facility; a home where you will be encouraged to become stronger both physically and mentally.

I love to see the benefits of what CrossFit can do for each person who walks in our door. How it can transform not only their body but their mind, their thinking and their ability to tackle whatever life throws at them.
