Maverick CrossFit Unloaded – Training Without The Barbell
Maverick CrossFit Unloaded follows the same program of constantly varied, high intensity, functional movements as regular CrossFit with the exception of the use of a barbell. Bootcamp style workouts are challenging and fast. Incorporating metabolic conditioning, with running, rowing and jump rope. Gymnastics, such as, air squats, pull ups, push ups, lunges and rope climbing, and weighted movements, with kettle bells, medicine balls and sand bags. It’s a great place to be introduced to CrossFit, for someone just starting, or restarting their fitness program, those who are intimidated by heavy or technical lifting, nursing an injury, or on a de-load week. Our CrossFit Unloaded classes are open to everyone. If you have gone through Foundation classes and would like to just drop in, you are welcome anytime. Classes may be combined during the week as long as you stay within your monthly plan.
Maverick CrossFit Unloaded classes – Mon – Wed – Fri at 10:00am & 6:30pm.
CrossFit Unloaded Testimonial:
“Boot Camp at Maverick CrossFit was the most challenging yet rewarding eight weeks of exercise in my fifty-three years. I decided to check out CrossFit because three of my kids train CrossFit in NY. My one son trained at Maverick CrossFit when he came for a visit so I checked out the website and saw that a boot camp was starting a few days later. I quickly signed up not really knowing what to expect. I had been walking a few miles a day but that was it. I called my kids after the first class and told them I had had an “outer-body experience.” Yes, I was pushed to the limit. Don’t let that scare you, Amber scaled the workouts to my abilities and as the weeks went on I could feel myself getting stronger and my stamina increase. I worked muscles I had forgotten I even had and after the eight weeks I could see and feel the difference. My arms, legs, abs, and butt are toned like they haven’t been in years. I would recommend Maverick CrossFit Boot Camp to women AND men of ANY age. Some say CrossFit is a cult, I’d say it’s a family. The boot camp followed a regular CrossFit session (W.O.D.’s) and the CrossFitters were so encouraging and friendly. Even if you aren’t interested in becoming a “CrossFitter”, the boot camp is for YOU! We never did the same workout twice and there were no heavy weights…unless you want them. A great gift idea…even if you have to buy it for yourself.” -Mimi
