We have added a free Yoga class to our Bootcamper program!
Each hour long workout will get you looking and feeling your best. We will focus on strength training, cardio endurance, plyo-metrics, body weight movements and mobility stretching. You will finish this program feeling strong and best of all, looking strong! Each class will be led by a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer to coach, teach and motivate you through each workout. Our Bootcamp class is different from our CrossFit class since we do not teach or incorporate any lifting involving a barbell. Therefore, we don’t require you to go through our “Foundation” classes prior to starting Bootcamp. We can accommodate any fitness level with our unique approach to each workout. We will also offer nutrition advice with useful real world information to help you reach your goals even faster. “Boot Camp at Maverick CrossFit was the most challenging yet rewarding eight weeks of exercise in my fifty-three years. I decided to check out CrossFit because three of my kids train CrossFit in NY. My one son trained at Maverick CrossFit when he came for a visit so I checked out the website and saw that a boot camp was starting a few days later. I quickly signed up not really knowing what to expect. I had been walking a few miles a day but that was it. I called my kids after the first class and told them I had had an “outer-body experience.” Yes, I was pushed to the limit. Don’t let that scare you, Amber scaled the workouts to my abilities and as the weeks went on I could feel myself getting stronger and my stamina increase. I worked muscles I had forgotten I even had and after the eight weeks I could see and feel the difference. My arms, legs, abs, and butt are toned like they haven’t been in years. I would recommend Maverick CrossFit Boot Camp to women AND men of ANY age. Some say CrossFit is a cult, I’d say it’s a family. The boot camp followed a regular CrossFit session (W.O.D.’s) and the CrossFitters were so encouraging and friendly.
